BIDEFORD SIGNAL BOX

The original Bideford signal box was demolished in 1968 but we built a replica of it in 1991. It’s exactly the same apart from not having a chimneybreast. In 2004 we installed a leverframe together with related signalling fittings so you can still pull the levers and imagine you’re letting a train through!  In 2018 we erected a replica running-in-board next to the box.
